Topic : “Elimination of Corporal Punishment”

The Teacher’s workshop was conducted in Kala Niketan International school on 30th  March 2019, Saturday @ 10:00 am under Shimla education welfare Society regd.(1983) running Kala Niketan groups of school arranged this workshop hosted by kala Niketan International School Ghazipur, Delhi.

The Resource person Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma senior Executive projects National council of Applied Economics Research.

The Workshop was started with auspicious Lamp lighting ceremony with manglacharan by Principal Mrs. Shimla Rai, Around 75 teachers of both the schools were participated Er. O.P Rai addressed the teachers that Corporal punishment is emotionally as well as physically painfull and its links to poor mental health in childhood are clear so its should not be in practice by teachers in school. Good teachers become great teachers by going beyond the call of duty and beyond the textbook. The main aim to conduct this type of workshop every year to encourage teachers to get help in technology for the students.

All the guests were presented a shawl as a token of Love by Er. O.P. Rai. Participants were given certificates too.
